I've been listening to Behind The Bastards alot lately. A comedy writer and a guest talk about the lesser known aspects of terrible people in history. Did you know Saddam Hussein wrote erotic novels?

Never Seen It usually gets me laughing pretty good. Comedians re-write movies they've never seen. I highly recommend starting with the Top Gun episode.

I feel like mentioning The Dollop is a cop out but I’m doing it anyway.

I find the Dollop overly snarky and impressed with themselves.

If you’re interested in Japanese culture, Living Japan is really interesting. The audio quality varies, however, and they haven’t done much new lately. They may be done.

I've been listening to less and less Automotive podcasts lately. More history ones.

-All Bad Things, a podcast about disasters
-Last Podcast On The Left, conspiracy/spooky/comedy
-American History Tellers, although the latest series about national parks is boring as fuck
-Stuff They Don't Want You To Know, conspiracy realism
                  -Ridiculous History, what it says
-Behind the Bastards - Hitler was a farting hipster, Stalin was a dick to his daughter, etc
-Business Wars - Chevy vs Ford, Coke vs Pepsi, etc - good one
-The Vanished podcast - true crime about unexplained disappearances, lots of interviews, dry host though
-Gear Geeks Live - about knives/watches/EDC
-Knife Nuts Podcast - what it says on the title
-Reply All - a great podcast who sadly as slowed their out put down dramatically, about the internet (sort of.)
-Crimetown - WHERE IS THE NEW SEASON WTF
-Science Vs - debunking science related bullshit

I didn't realize Jalopnik had a podcast? *snerk*

My personal fave is The 40-Year Old Boy. Might be a little hard to get into. The host has worked as a stand up and writer, and was on the first season of Never Not Funny...but tends to be his own worst enemy. The podcast tends to be slice of life stuff, but he is brutally funny, and occasionally raw about his flaws and struggles. The full archive is on YouTube, with the feed in all the usual spots.

More votes for Business Wars, Behind the Bastards, and Last Podcast on the Left.

Disgraceland is my new jam. Very well-done music podcast with a true crime spin.

Also started listening to the new show, The Dream, after a mention on Disgraceland. Only two episodes in so far, about MLM "businesses."

I was all caught up on all of my podcasts and had to look for some new stuff . I stumbled across this episode last night. The podcast in general is a little Coast To Coast esk. This show was a great listen for sure!

Listen to Astonishing Legends episodes free, on demand. BACKGROUND We know that Distance = Rate x Time but when one of the variables of that equation is altered beyond reason by some unimaginable force of nature, the result can challenge what we think we know about the natural world. This was the experience of pilot Bruce Gernon, who believes he encountered a rare, yet natural phenomenon during a routine flight from Andros Island in the Bahamas to Palm Beach, Florida. Minutes after taking off from Andros (which also happens to be located within the legendary “Bermuda Triangle”). Gernon, along with his father who was acting as co-pilot and navigator and another passenger who was their business partner, found themselves rapidly being enveloped in a strange and powerful storm. A bizarre tunnel of clouds chased and formed around them, and by all objective and rational observations, appears to have warped spacetime itself. Gernon would later write about his theory of the experience calling the phenomenon, “Electronic Fog.” Could a severe weather anomaly be the cause of the mysteries of the Bermuda Triangle, or is there a greater supernatural force causing the extreme weather?
